The transmission mounts in your car play a critical role in your suspension. With this in mind, the stock mounts have been known to experience failures causing over revving, mis-shifts, and in extreme cases, even chassis damage. Combat this issue with upgraded polyurethane transmission mounts from ECS Tuning. Designed with the street and track in mind, we’ve got you covered no matter your driving style. Fears of torn mounts are a thing of the past; a mechanical interlock feature makes these mounts ideal even for high torque, forced-induction applications.

Polyurethane is tougher and more durable than rubber, with stronger wear resistance. It is also resistant to water, oil, and grease, and will retain its original shape even after being heavily compressed. In short, polyurethane reduces deflection, making it easier to put the power down. While the tradeoff is a slight increase in NVH, the benefits mentioned above far outweigh the small compromise in ride comfort. With a polyurethane durometer of 70A, our street mounts are perfect for any situation – soft enough to be comfortable for daily driving, but durable enough to handle the abuse of the track. For our more track-focused customers, we also offer a stiffer mount with a durometer rating of 80A (ES#2718367).
