Engineered & Enhanced Construction

Each pair of TTE840 turbochargers undergoes extensive modification and optimization of the original units:

  • Replacement of the factory compressor with a significantly larger, high-efficiency billet compressor wheel featuring extended-tip technology

  • Precision machining of the compressor cover to achieve optimal clearance and aerodynamic efficiency

  • Installation of an enlarged TTE 9-blade turbine wheel to improve exhaust gas flow and overall performance

  • Integration of TTE’s upgraded bearing system to support long-term durability under high-performance conditions

Precision Balancing & Quality Assurance

Accurate balancing is essential for turbocharger longevity, refinement, and performance. Every TTE unit is subjected to a meticulous multi-stage balancing process:

  1. Component Pre-Balancing: Individual parts are balanced at low speeds up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using specialized single-component machinery.

  2. Assembly Balancing: After assembly, the CHRA is dynamically balanced at application-specific speeds of up to 250,000 RPM using TTE’s in-house VSR system.

  3. Certification: Each turbocharger set is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test report verifying compliance with standards exceeding OEM specifications.
