TTE910 5654 AMG UPGRADE TURBOCHARGERS

Compatible with Mercedes-AMG 4.0L V8 Biturbo M177/M178 engines, including E63 AMG, C63 AMG, G63 AMG, AMG GT, AMG GT S, and GLC 63 AMG models.

The TTE910 hybrid turbochargers from TheTurboEngineers are engineered specifically for the eight-cylinder 4.0L AMG engine, delivering exceptional airflow, efficiency, and reliability for high-performance applications.

To produce each matched pair of TTE910 turbochargers, significantly larger compressor wheels are utilized compared to the TTE760+. The compressor housings are precision CNC-machined to achieve optimal clearances that perfectly match the new compressor profiles, ensuring maximum efficiency and stability.

The original turbine assemblies are replaced with larger, lightweight 9-blade turbines, and the turbine housings are CNC-machined to accommodate them. This upgrade substantially increases exhaust gas flow capability while maintaining excellent response characteristics.

Advanced 9-Blade Turbine Technology

The 9-blade TTE turbine is a proprietary design developed by TheTurboEngineers. Its optimized blade geometry delivers increased gas flow, reduced exhaust backpressure, and lower exhaust gas temperatures. These improvements allow for safer operation at higher boost pressures.

Despite its larger size, the turbine features an exceptionally low mass, resulting in reduced rotational inertia. This enables rapid spool-up and impressive throttle response relative to the turbocharger’s performance capacity.

Precision Balancing & Equilibrium

Achieving perfect balance is a critical requirement for all TTE upgrade turbochargers, as both performance and long-term durability are paramount. Superior balancing also contributes to improved acoustic behavior during operation.

Each turbocharger component is initially balanced individually at low speeds of up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using dedicated single-part balancing equipment. Once assembled, the CHRA units undergo high-speed dynamic balancing on our in-house VSR machine at speeds of up to 250,000 RPM, depending on application requirements.

This meticulous process results in an equilibrium standard that exceeds OEM specifications. Every turbocharger set is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test certificate, ensuring complete traceability and quality assurance.
