Engineered & Enhanced
Each TTE650 turbocharger begins as a genuine RS6 K04 OE unit and is meticulously re-engineered with larger, high-efficiency billet compressor wheels paired with precision-clipped turbines. All enhancements are developed using only authentic BorgWarner components to ensure uncompromised reliability and quality.
Performance with Durability
Compressor covers are CNC-machined in-house to achieve optimal tolerances, enabling seamless fitment while preserving the efficiency benefits of the advanced 2283 extended-tip billet compressor wheel design. This low-inertia wheel improves airflow and performs like a larger assembly, delivering:
Faster spool-up at lower RPM
Reduced charge temperatures
Stronger top-end performance
The factory turbine and shaft assembly are replaced with TTE’s proprietary 9-blade units, increasing exhaust gas flow, reducing back pressure, and lowering exhaust gas temperatures for improved efficiency and durability.
To withstand higher loads without compromising transient response, we install high-performance 360° motorsport-grade journal bearings. Uprated sprung OE actuators with reinforced clamps are also fitted to ensure consistent, trouble-free operation.
Precision Balancing — The TTE Standard
Balancing is a critical element of every TTE turbocharger. Each unit undergoes a multi-stage process:
Component Pre-Balancing — Individual parts balanced at speeds up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes.
Assembly & Dynamic Balancing — Fully assembled CHRAs balanced at application-specific speeds up to 250,000 RPM using our in-house VSR system.
This rigorous process achieves equilibrium standards significantly exceeding OEM tolerances, enhancing longevity, performance, and acoustic refinement. Every turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test certificate verifying its precision.
