TTE6XX 6054 VTG PORSCHE 718 2.5 UPGRADE TURBOCHARGER

The TTE6XX 6054 VTG Turbocharger represents the next evolution in The Turbo Engineers’ VTG upgrade program, developed as a higher-flow successor to the proven TTE580 VTG. This upgrade delivers significantly increased mass airflow through a larger, high-efficiency compressor while retaining the same advanced 9-blade exhaust turbine, ensuring exceptional response and enhanced power potential.

This turbocharger continues to utilize Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG) technology, providing rapid spool characteristics and excellent low-end drivability. Power output is substantially increased through the integration of a larger, high-flow 9-blade turbine and a TTE 7+7 blade CNC-milled billet compressor wheel, a design already proven to support 600+ horsepower in other TTE performance applications.

Proven Performance

On an otherwise stock vehicle equipped only with an aftermarket cat-back exhaust, the TTE6XX VTG achieved:

  • 500 wheel horsepower

  • 471 wheel torque

Tested on 91 octane (95 RON) fuel with water-methanol injection (WMI) at 1.6 bar boost, validated by ByDesign (USA).

Precision Balancing & Equilibrium

Turbocharger balance is a critical factor in both performance and long-term reliability. Every TTE turbocharger undergoes an extensive, multi-stage balancing process to ensure superior durability, smooth operation, and improved acoustic characteristics.

  • Individual rotating components are first balanced at low speeds up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using dedicated single-component balancing equipment.

  • Once assembled, the CHRA is dynamically balanced using our in-house VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) at speeds of up to 250,000 RPM, depending on application.

  • This process achieves equilibrium standards well beyond OEM specifications.

Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test report, certifying its precision and quality.
