Engineered & Enhanced Performance
The TTE920+ is equipped with larger TTE billet compressor wheels and high-flow 9-blade TTE exhaust turbines, significantly increasing airflow efficiency and power potential. These upgrades are complemented by a TTE motorsport-grade bearing pack, developed to withstand sustained high-load operation while maintaining excellent throttle response.
A high-performance motorsport journal bearing system is utilized to ensure durability at elevated boost pressures without sacrificing transient response. Turbocharger control is managed via an uprated OE actuator, enhanced with reinforced TTE clamps to guarantee long-term reliability and trouble-free operation under demanding conditions.
Precision Balance & Equilibrium
Precision balancing is a cornerstone of every TTE upgrade turbocharger, as longevity, refinement, and peak performance depend on absolute equilibrium. Superior balance not only enhances durability but also improves acoustic quality during operation.
Each turbocharger undergoes a meticulous multi-stage balancing process. Individual components are initially balanced at low speeds of up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using dedicated single-part balancing equipment. Once assembled, the CHRA is dynamically balanced at speeds of up to 250,000 RPM, depending on application, using TTE’s in-house VSR balancing system. This process achieves balance tolerances that exceed OEM standards.
Every TTE920+ turbocharger set is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test report, providing documented assurance of quality, precision, and performance.
