When increasing engine power output (torque) in modern Porsches, it is necessary to make changes to the transmission calibration. The changes in our High Torque Calibration increase torque limitations while retaining Porsche’s factory logic. This allows for the TCM to continue increasing clutch pressure as torque increases, preventing excessive slip. It also prevents the TCM from disengaging the clutches completely when torque is above it’s factory-implemented limit.
Additionally, calibration changes were made to reduce shift time when drivers are manually changing gears using paddles.
