TTE350+ 4649 VAG IS12 UPGRADE TURBOCHARGER

The TTE350+ is our latest high-performance hybrid turbocharger upgrade, engineered from the original IHI IS12 unit for 3rd-generation VAG 2.0 TSI engines. Designed to deliver true Stage 3 hybrid performance, it retains the IS12’s exceptional spool characteristics and throttle response while significantly increasing power capability. In its class, we consider it one of the most capable sub-400 HP hybrid turbochargers currently available.

Engineered & Enhanced for EA888 Gen 3 – IS12 Platform

To build the TTE350+, the factory compressor is replaced with a substantially larger, high-efficiency billet compressor wheel featuring extended-tip technology. The compressor cover is precision-machined to achieve optimal clearance and aerodynamic efficiency tailored to the upgraded wheel profile.

On the turbine side, the original unit is upgraded with a larger 9-blade turbine, and the turbine housing is CNC-machined to accommodate it. The standard thrust bearing is also replaced with our in-house manufactured 360-degree TTE performance bearing, ensuring superior load distribution and durability under high boost conditions.

CNC Silencer Delete Upgrade

Each TTE350+ is fitted with our CNC-engineered silencer delete modification. This process removes the factory discharge baffle system and replaces it with a straight-through section, eliminating airflow restriction while enhancing both performance and turbo acoustics.

Precision Balancing & Quality Assurance

Accurate balancing is fundamental to turbocharger longevity, efficiency, and acoustic refinement. Every TTE turbocharger undergoes a rigorous multi-stage balancing process:

  1. Component Pre-Balancing – Individual parts are balanced at speeds up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using our precision single-component balancing system.

  2. Assembly & Dynamic Balancing – Fully assembled CHRA units are dynamically balanced at speeds up to 250,000 RPM (application-dependent) using our in-house VSR system.

This procedure achieves balance tolerances exceeding OEM standards. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test report certifying its performance integrity.
