Welcome to the TTE400 Hybrid Upgrade Turbocharger, engineered specifically for the Porsche 964 platform. The objective of the TTE400 stage is to bring the classic 964 firmly into the 21st century by integrating the latest TTE turbocharger compressor technology while preserving the character of this iconic air-cooled engine.

At the core of the upgrade, we replace the original G-series compressor technology—now over five decades old—with a larger, state-of-the-art TTE billet compressor wheel. Designed with the latest aerodynamic geometry, this advanced compressor delivers significantly increased air mass flow across a broader operating range. The result is improved efficiency, enhanced throttle response, and stronger, more consistent power delivery throughout the rev band.

Precision Engineering & Balancing Excellence

Precision balancing is a fundamental requirement of every TTE upgrade turbocharger. Longevity, reliability, and performance are paramount—and meticulous balancing plays a critical role not only in durability but also in optimizing acoustic refinement.

Each turbocharger undergoes a rigorous, multi-stage balancing process:

• Component-Level Balancing: Individual parts are balanced at low speeds up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using our specialized single-part balancing machine.

• CHRA Dynamic Balancing: Once assembled, the complete CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) is dynamically balanced at application-specific speeds of up to 250,000 RPM using our in-house VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) machine.

This comprehensive process ensures optimal equilibrium to a standard significantly exceeding OEM specifications. Every turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test result document, providing full traceability and quality assurance.
