The TTE465 Turbocharger Upgrade is engineered specifically for the Porsche 718 2.0L horizontally opposed (flat-4) turbocharged engine, delivering a significant performance increase while maintaining exceptional throttle response and drivability.
This upgrade retains the original turbocharger housing while incorporating a larger, high-flow 9-blade lightweight turbine and a bigger 7+7 blade CNC-milled billet compressor wheel. The result is increased airflow and power potential, carefully optimized to preserve the fast response characteristics that define all TTE turbocharger upgrades.
Precision Balancing & Equilibrium
Achieving perfect balance is a critical requirement for any TTE turbocharger upgrade, as both long-term reliability and peak performance are paramount. Superior balancing not only enhances durability but also improves acoustic behavior under load.
Each turbocharger undergoes a rigorous multi-stage balancing process:
Individual components are initially balanced at low speeds up to 2,800 RPM in multiple planes using our dedicated single-part balancing equipment.
Once assembled, the CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) is dynamically balanced using our in-house VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) at speeds of up to 250,000 RPM, depending on the application.
Balancing is performed across multiple planes to achieve equilibrium levels that exceed OEM standards.
Every TTE turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test certificate, ensuring full traceability and confirmation of our uncompromising quality standards.
