TTE500 4236 BMW N54 UPGRADE TURBOCHARGERS

The TTE500 4236 is our entry-level hybrid turbocharger package for the legendary BMW N54 engine—delivering substantial performance gains while maintaining rapid spool characteristics and long-term durability.

Engineered from original OEM turbochargers, the TTE500 is designed for true Plug & Play installation, utilizing larger-diameter inlet turbo feeds for enhanced airflow and efficiency. This upgrade provides a significant increase in power output while preserving drivability and responsiveness, making it an ideal solution for performance-focused road and track applications.

Wastegate Upgrade Option

An optional TTE wastegate upgrade is available when selecting NEW turbochargers via the dropdown menu.

For customers supplying used cores, the wastegate upgrade is automatically included, as original components are typically worn and require replacement to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Upgrade package includes:

  • Reinforced upgrade flappers

  • Strengthened actuator arms

  • High-durability bushings

Precision Balancing & Equilibrium Engineering

Precision balancing is a critical factor in every TTE turbocharger upgrade. Performance, longevity, and acoustic refinement all depend on achieving exact equilibrium standards.

Our multi-stage balancing process includes:

  1. Component-Level Balancing – Individual parts are balanced at low speeds up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using specialized single-part balancing equipment.

  2. Dynamic CHRA Balancing – After assembly, the CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) undergoes high-speed dynamic balancing at application-specific speeds of up to 250,000 RPM using our in-house VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) machine.

This meticulous process ensures balance tolerances significantly exceeding OEM standards.

Each TTE turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test result document, verifying its precision calibration and quality assurance.
