Elevate your 2.5 TFSI engine with the TTE500+ performance turbocharger, now including a CNC-matched and ported OE intake pipe for seamless integration. Based on the original turbocharger design, this unit is upgraded to a higher-output specification, delivering a complete, ultra plug-and-play performance solution.
Engineered & Enhanced Performance
At the heart of the TTE500+ is a larger, highly efficient TTE compressor wheel, engineered for maximum airflow relative to its size. The compressor cover has been re-profiled and optimized for tighter tolerances, ensuring peak compressor efficiency.
The exhaust turbine housing is CNC-milled to accommodate the larger TTE 9-blade turbine and low-mass shaft, designed for rapid spool-up and improved throttle response. Replacing the previous K24 turbine, this 9-blade design provides higher peak power and a broader torque curve.
Exhaust runners are CNC-ported at the flange to smooth the transition from cylinder head to turbine, optimizing gas velocity and enhancing efficiency for the upgraded turbine.
A TTE high-performance motorsport journal bearing system ensures durability under high loads while maintaining instantaneous response. The actuator is an uprated OE-style unit, secured with reinforced clamps for reliable, trouble-free operation.
The included OEM intake pipe is CNC-matched to the larger compressor inlet, reducing turbulence while maximizing airflow velocity and mass. A TTE-designed O-ring system provides a consistent, reliable seal between the intake pipe and compressor cover.
Precision Balance & Reliability
Every TTE500+ turbocharger undergoes meticulous balancing, a critical factor in performance, longevity, and acoustic refinement.
Initial balancing of individual components is performed up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using precision single-part machines.
Components are then assembled into the CHRA and dynamically balanced up to 250,000 RPM using our in-house VSR machine, achieving an equilibrium standard well above OEM specifications.
Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test certificate, confirming the quality and precision of your upgrade.
