The TTE600 RACE is a high-performance upgrade turbocharger engineered from the original RS3 8V.2 / TTRS 8S unit for the DAZA & DNWA 2.5 TFSI EVO engine. At The Turbo Engineers (TTE), we have reworked this platform to deliver a reliable, high-response performance hybrid turbo that provides quicker spool, exceptional throttle response, and a noticeable increase in horsepower over the stock turbo. This unit has been tested, developed, and proven by MTR Performance over approximately one year prior to release, with tuners consistently reporting faster response compared to the stock turbo.

Designed for enthusiasts seeking improved drivability rather than peak horsepower, the TTE600 RACE offers plug-and-play installation with an upgraded inlet, matching the size of the TTE700.

  • Compressor Wheel: Replaced with a milled aluminum 7+7 blade wheel featuring advanced aerodynamic geometry for enhanced power output.

  • Exhaust Turbine: Upgraded to a lightweight, high-flow 9-blade TTE-designed turbine, reducing exhaust backpressure and maximizing performance.

  • Bearing System: Fitted with the proven TTE motorsport upgrade bearing pack to ensure durability under high-performance conditions.

Thermal Management & Safety:

All new units are built from the latest-generation BorgWarner turbochargers, incorporating Audi-spec thermal shielding on the exhaust manifold and turbine housing to reduce engine bay temperatures and maintain safe, high-performance operation.

Precision Balancing for Performance & Longevity:

Every TTE turbocharger undergoes an extensive multi-stage balancing process to ensure superior performance, longevity, and acoustic refinement:

  1. Component Balance: Individual parts balanced at low speeds up to 2,800 RPM in multiple planes.

  2. CHRA Assembly & Dynamic Balancing: The complete rotor assembly is dynamically balanced in-house up to 250,000 RPM, achieving equilibrium standards far exceeding OEM specifications.

Each turbocharger includes a serial-numbered balance test certificate, verifying the precision and quality of the unit.
