The TTE720 5046 VTG Upgrade Turbochargers are developed from the original Turbo S units, utilizing the larger factory turbine housings and extensively re-engineered to deliver significantly higher output. This upgrade is designed to provide a substantial performance increase while maintaining excellent throttle response and everyday drivability.
Engineered & Enhanced Performance
The TTE720 VTG features enlarged, high-efficiency billet compressor wheels combined with precisely clipped original turbine wheels, while fully retaining the factory VTG (Variable Turbine Geometry) mechanism. This ensures enhanced airflow and power delivery without compromising low-RPM response or boost control.
Precision Balance & Equilibrium
Turbocharger balancing is a critical element of every TTE upgrade, where long-term reliability, performance consistency, and refined acoustics are paramount. Superior balance reduces vibration, enhances efficiency, and contributes to overall durability.
Each component is initially balanced at low speeds of up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using dedicated single-part balancing equipment. Following assembly, the complete CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) undergoes high-speed dynamic balancing on our in-house VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) system, reaching speeds of up to 250,000 RPM, depending on the application.
This meticulous process achieves balance standards significantly exceeding OEM specifications. Every turbocharger set is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test certificate, ensuring full traceability and quality assurance.
