TTE777 6660 EVO 2.5TFSI UPGRADE TURBOCHARGER

The TTE777 6660 EVO is a high-performance hybrid turbocharger engineered by The Turbo Engineers for the DAZA and DNWA 2.5 TFSI EVO engines. Based on the original Audi RS3 8V.2 and TTRS 8S turbocharger platform, this unit is comprehensively reworked to deliver class-leading performance while maintaining true plug-and-play fitment (upgrade inlet required).

Advanced Hybrid Evolution

The TTE777 represents the next evolution of our highly acclaimed TTE700 platform. It incorporates substantial aerodynamic and flow enhancements, including:

  • Larger billet compressor wheel

  • Precision CNC porting

  • Optimized gas-flow geometry

  • Reinforced internal components

The compressor is upgraded to a state-of-the-art 7+7 blade milled aluminum billet wheel, designed to deliver significantly increased airflow and power output beyond the TTE700 specification.

On the turbine side, the original exhaust wheel is replaced with a substantially larger yet lightweight 9-blade turbine, engineered by TTE for reduced exhaust gas backpressure and improved efficiency. This design enhances top-end performance while preserving excellent boost response.

To ensure durability under extreme operating conditions, the unit is equipped with a proven TTE Motorsport upgraded bearing system.

Enhanced Flow Engineering

For the TTE777 stage, extensive CNC porting is carried out on the exhaust manifold to precisely match the OEM head flange gasket. Each exhaust runner is carefully reshaped to create smoother gas transitions, increasing flow velocity and efficiency toward the larger 9-blade low-mass turbine.

Additional turbine-side modifications further enhance gas flow capacity, allowing the upgraded compressor to operate more effectively and generate higher performance levels.

OEM+ Quality with Latest Generation Components

When supplied new, the TTE777 utilizes the latest-generation original BorgWarner turbocharger base unit. It also incorporates the newest-spec Audi thermal heat isolation shielding on the exhaust manifold and turbine housing, reducing engine bay temperatures while maintaining optimal safety and performance.

Precision Balancing – The TTE Equilibrium Standard

Precision balancing is fundamental to every TTE upgrade turbocharger. Longevity, performance stability, and acoustic refinement depend heavily on achieving superior balance tolerances.

Each unit undergoes a meticulous multi-stage balancing process:

  1. Component Pre-Balancing – Individual parts are balanced at low speeds up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using specialized equipment.

  2. Assembly & CHRA Dynamic Balancing – Once assembled, the CHRA is dynamically balanced at speeds up to 250,000 RPM using our in-house VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) system.

This process achieves equilibrium standards significantly exceeding OEM specifications.

Every TTE777 turbocharger is supplied with an individual, serial-numbered balance test result certificate, ensuring verified quality and traceability.
