The TTE800 upgrade turbochargers are engineered from the original GT2 K24 (X50) units and comprehensively re-specified to deliver significantly higher performance. Designed for extreme reliability and efficiency, this upgrade supports power outputs in excess of 800 PS, making it an ideal solution for high-performance Porsche 996 applications.
Engineered & Enhanced Performance
At the heart of the TTE800 upgrade lies a substantially larger TTE-designed compressor wheel, selected for its exceptional aerodynamic efficiency and outstanding airflow relative to its size. The compressor housings are re-profiled and CNC-machined to optimized tolerances, ensuring maximum compressor efficiency and consistent high-flow performance.
The exhaust turbine housing is CNC-machined to accommodate a larger 9-blade turbine and shaft assembly, allowing increased exhaust gas flow while maintaining excellent transient response.
A special-profile 360-degree high-performance motorsport journal bearing is fitted to ensure durability under elevated loads, without compromising spool characteristics. Boost control is managed via a genuine OE actuator, supplied with a 0.8 bar crack pressure as standard (optional 1.0 bar configuration available upon request).
Precision Balancing & Ultimate Equilibrium
Precision balancing is a critical element of every TTE turbocharger upgrade, as longevity, performance, and acoustic refinement are paramount. Each component is initially balanced individually at low speeds of up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using our dedicated single-component balancing equipment.
Following assembly, the CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) undergoes high-speed dynamic balancing on our in-house VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) at speeds of up to 250,000 RPM, depending on application. This process achieves an equilibrium standard significantly exceeding OEM specifications.
Every TTE800 turbocharger set is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test report, providing complete traceability and assurance of quality.
