Introducing the TTE900 Turbochargers for the McLaren 600LT – the pinnacle of hybrid turbocharger performance.
To create each TTE900 unit, we replace the original compressors with significantly larger, highly efficient billet wheels and precisely machine the compressor covers to optimize the gap for the new compressor profile. The turbines are upgraded to the largest 9-blade, low-mass design compatible with the housings, delivering enhanced flow, reduced exhaust gas temperatures under high boost, and quicker spool times. The upgraded bearing pack is engineered for maximum durability, ensuring both exceptional power potential and rapid boost response. The result is a turbocharger that balances extreme performance with reliability.
Precision Equilibrium
Achieving perfect balance is critical to the TTE standard. Proper balancing not only ensures longevity but also enhances performance and acoustic quality. Each TTE turbo undergoes meticulous multi-stage balancing:
Component Balancing: Individual parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using our specialized single-part balancing machine.
CHRA Dynamic Balancing: After assembly, the CHRA is dynamically balanced at up to 250,000 RPM, depending on the application, using our in-house VSR machine.
This process guarantees a level of equilibrium that surpasses OEM standards. Each turbocharger is delivered with a serial-numbered balance test certificate, confirming its performance and precision.
