TTE475 5349 VAG IS38 UPGRADE TURBOCHARGER
The TTE475 is designed for the MQB 2.0L engine, building on the proven TTE470 platform. It retains the reliable IS38 turbine while incorporating the original recirculation function for optimized performance. The turbine blades are carefully clipped to increase airflow and reduce exhaust gas temperatures, while a larger 6+6 blade milled billet compressor delivers additional power with responsiveness comparable to the OEM IS38.
TTE CNC Silencer Delete
Our proprietary silencer modification removes the factory baffle internals from the turbo discharge section and installs a straight-through design. This reduces flow restriction, enhances exhaust sound, and improves overall performance.
Upgraded Thrust Bearing
The original thrust bearing is replaced with our in-house TTE 360° upgrade, engineered for superior durability and reliability under high-performance conditions.
Precision Balance & Longevity
Achieving perfect balance is critical for TTE turbochargers. Each component is carefully balanced at slow speeds (up to 2,800 RPM) across multiple planes using our dedicated single-parts machine. Once assembled, the CHRA is dynamically balanced at speeds up to 250,000 RPM (depending on application) using our in-house VSR machine. This ensures optimal equilibrium, performance, and acoustics—far exceeding OEM standards. Every turbocharger is delivered with a serial-numbered balance test report.
